Riley has this really nifty ability called Aura. What's Aura? Well, to quote what I've written on his app...
Want Riley to be able to see the esssence of your character's being from the get go or are they a lot more highly guarded?
Regardless of permissions - Riley is able to detect great shifts in mood and temperament. If your character goes from happy to sad or calm to angry or angry to even angrier, Riley will pick up on that.
It's almost a way of seeing rather than anything else. It is tiring, so unless your aura is completely dazzling or great (think of when Team Galactic disrupted Iron Island - all the Pokemon were distressed and so Riley picked up on that without even trying.), Riley won't be constantly looking for people's aura 24/7.

Name: Your character's name obviously.
Human/Pokemon/Other: Are you human? Or Pokemon? Or other? This is important because if you're a Pokemon, Riley will be able to read Pokemon auras more easily than humans. (obviously if your character is in human form then it's not as easy.)
Does your character have any extra-sensory or psychic powers/inclinations? Usually Riley can pick up whether a character has or hasn't got them. This usually means that they can deflect/detect when he tries reading people's Auras.
Can Riley read your character's personality aura?: Will Riley be able to see what kind of person your character is from the get go? Or are they more guarded than that? Will he only be able to get a vague inkling of how they're like or will they be open like a book?
Can Riley read your character's mood/emotion aura?: A pretty basic example is if someone's sad and they're saying that they're not sad. Will Riley pick up on their real sadness? Or is your character's ability to disguise their emotion so great that they themselves believe it and thus, have Riley believe it?
Can Riley influence your character's mood/emotion aura?: Generally Riley isn't a manipulative guy. He doesn't roll that way. But if you're distressed for example, and need calming down then Riley will project a soothing aura.
Anything else?: Any other info.
Riley comes descended from a line of Aura Guardians. Aura is the quintessential being of every creature in this world - humans, Pokemon, you name it. (The only things that don't have Aura are machines/inorganic things, usually). Riley then has the ability to detect and to some extent, manipulate Aura around him. (his in-game sprite has a blue flash around his hand and he mentions reading the player's aura a few times).
While he can't manipulate the auras of other people, he can read them and he can sure as hell manipulate his own. This changes the way people will react to him, but it only influences them rather than being a complete changer of their moods and thoughts - and it goes without saying only in person. Generally Riley's aura is that of calm but for example, if he wanted to rouse morale he could project a more "excitable" Aura. Or if he wanted to keep people away he could try to project a "standoff-ish" aura. Mind you he's still trying to learn the ins and outs of it so it may not always work.
Aura is a wave, and works almost the same way as sound so it can be disrupted, reflected or blocked if the mechanism of doing so is known.

Does your character have any extra-sensory or psychic powers/inclinations? No, Chili does not have any extra-sensory powers or otherwise. Just a regular human here!
Can Riley read your character's personality aura?: Sure! Chili is very open and you can probably read all of it.
Can Riley read your character's mood/emotion aura?: Sure! Not like anybody else can't already... he's an open book. If he's really feeling one way but says he's not, Riley can definitely figure out his true feelings. Chili is no good at hiding his feelings.
Can Riley influence your character's mood/emotion aura?: Yes, this is fine by me.
Anything else?: A lot of Chili's emotions are powerful/passionate ones. It's not hard to tell what he's feeling since his emotional output is REALLY HIGH. He is very temperamental and has some extreme highs and lows.
